The Target Blu Eye 2 is a unique and patented road safety system designed to alert drivers to the presence of nearby emergency service vehicles. Using advanced TETRA (Airwave) radio detection technology, the system can detect signals transmitted by UK emergency services and warn you of their presence even before lights or sirens are visible.

The system provides both visual and audible alerts, allowing drivers to safely adjust their driving and move aside where necessary. Detection can occur up to approximately 1 kilometre away, helping to reduce sudden braking or unpredictable manoeuvres when emergency vehicles approach.

Target Blu Eye 2 helps increase driver awareness and road safety by providing early warnings of approaching emergency services, including:

Target Blu Eye 2 operates using TETRA communication technology, known in the UK as the Airwave network, which is widely used by emergency services for communication.

When an emergency service vehicle within range is actively using the network, the system detects the signal and alerts the driver through an in-vehicle display and audible warning. A signal strength indicator shows whether the emergency vehicle is approaching or moving away, giving the driver time to react safely.

Even in low visibility conditions or at night, when lights or sirens may not yet be activated, the system can provide an early warning of emergency services nearby.

• Discreet LED mirror display, integrated into the rear-view mirror

Both displays can show up to three emergency vehicles simultaneously, helping you understand if multiple services are operating nearby.

Yes. Target Blu Eye is legal to use in the UK as it simply alerts drivers to the presence of emergency services. The system does not decode or intercept radio communications from the Airwave network and cannot distinguish between police, ambulance or fire services.

Target Blu Eye 2 is professionally installed at our Ilkley workshop to ensure correct antenna placement, discreet wiring and reliable operation.
