These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the website www.ilkleycaraudio.co.uk and all services provided by Ilkley Car Audio Ltd. By accessing our website, booking services, or delivering a vehicle to our premises, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Labour Rates
Our standard labour rate is £85.00 per hour plus VAT.
All labour is charged based on time allocated and reserved in advance.
3. Deposits and Booking Policy
For bookings involving diagnostics, auto-electrical work, or installations using customer-supplied parts, a non-refundable one-hour deposit (£85.00 + VAT) is required at the time of booking.
This deposit secures workshop time and staffing resources and will be retained in full under the following circumstances:

4. Vehicle Condition on Arrival
All vehicles must be delivered in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition suitable for workshop work.
If a vehicle is deemed excessively dirty, unsanitary, hazardous, or unsafe to work on (including but not limited to biohazards, waste, mould, strong odours, or obstructed working areas), Ilkley Car Audio Ltd reserves the right to:
Where work is refused due to vehicle condition, the customer will still be charged for the initial one-hour booking slot at £85.00 + VAT.
5. Labour Time and Lunch Break
Quoted labour times exclude the lunch break, which is taken between 12:00pm and 1:00pm.
Example: A four-hour labour quote commencing at 9:00am will result in an estimated collection time of approximately 2:00pm.

8. Cancellation and Parts Refunds
If a customer cancels an installation after parts have been ordered:
Certain parts, including bespoke, special-order, or electrical components, may be non-returnable.
9. Goodwill Labour Adjustments on Large Installations
For large installations lasting one full working day or two full working days, Ilkley Car Audio Ltd may, at its discretion, apply a reduced labour rate as a gesture of goodwill.
This goodwill adjustment applies only to the initially agreed scope of work.
Any additional work requested or required outside the original agreement will be charged at the standard hourly rate of £85.00 plus VAT.
Such goodwill adjustments do not constitute a waiver of rights or set a precedent for future work.
10. Vehicle Storage and Parking
10.1 Vehicles Parked Outside
Vehicles left on-site and parked in the car park are left entirely at the customer’s own risk, particularly outside business hours.
Vehicles parked in spaces belonging to neighbouring units or outside designated Ilkley Car Audio Ltd parking areas remain the sole responsibility of the customer, including any damage incurred.
10.2 Vehicles Stored Inside
Vehicles stored inside our premises overnight with a declared value exceeding £200,000 will incur an additional insurance charge.
Customers may opt out of this additional cover; however, by doing so, they acknowledge that Ilkley Car Audio Ltd’s insurance will only cover vehicles up to a maximum value of £200,000 per vehicle. Any loss or damage above this value shall not be recoverable.
11. Security and CCTV
Ilkley Car Audio Ltd operates CCTV systems for security and monitoring purposes.
Vehicle keys are recorded and stored off-site outside of working hours as an additional security measure. By leaving a vehicle with us, customers consent to these security arrangements.
12. Late Collection of Vehicles
Our standard closing time is 5:30pm.
Late vehicle collection is available only by prior arrangement and agreement and may incur a late collection fee unless agreed in advance.
Vehicles not collected within the agreed-upon times may be secured overnight and may incur additional charges.
